About the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen:
Opening its doors in late 2006, the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen was built to provide meeting and event space for alumni, faculty, and friends of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.  The Center is specifically designed for alumni to cultivate new friendships and maintain those established when attending the University.

UNC Charlotte faculty, staff, students, and the Charlotte community are encouraged to use the Harris Alumni Center for meetings, receptions, banquets, retreats, and corporate events.  The Center can accomodate groups of 2 to 150 in a variety of elegant settings.

Building Rental:
All events at the Harris Alumni Center at Johnson Glen must be booked through Pam Harris, assistant director of events, by completing and submitting an Event Request Form.  Event requests must be submitted four weeks prior to the date requested.  You will be notified of availablity via e-mail within three business days.

The Allen Tate Great Hall and the Board Room both have smart podiums with laptop connectivity, interactive monitors, PC, microphone, DVD/VHS player, and 51-inch flat panel displays.
